Our Fusion boot is a range of special features fused together to make a quality, durable and comfortable safety boot. Handled more than 70 times during the manufacturing process, you can be assured that the quality control the Fusion goes through is second to none.
- "The Fusion is the best boot I've ever had, especially with it being anti-metallic. It was really easy to break in, soft and comfortable. By far the best safety boot around."
Calum, Highland Fuels
The Fusion was created with those who work in Aviation in mind. Whether it be ground handling or aircraft engineering, we wanted to create a boot that was fit for purpose that anybody could use and with that, the Fusion was born.
There are a number of different features the Fusion has to be excited about, but one of the main features, particularly important for the aviation sector, is that the Fusion is completely metal free. We know that it’s time consuming and not ideal to have to take your boots on and off every time to go through security and beep while working, so we created a completely metal free boot.

But how have we done that? Well, the Fusion is made with a fibreglass toe cap. This non-metallic material still protects your feet for the same impact as a steel toe cap at 200 joules but using fibreglass, makes the Fusion lighter, and therefore adds comfort.
Secondly, the Fusion boasts a composite midsole that is pierce resistant using a material that is effectively Kevlar, which again adds to the lightness of the Fusion. On top of the composite midsole, the sole of the Fusion is abSOLEutely (here I am with the puns again) something to talk and get excited about.
Made of rubber (if you want to read about materials used for sole units, read our blog here), the Fusion is heat resistant of 300-degrees Celsius. This means that the sole won’t melt or fuse into one tread pattern, which is important if your job involves standing on hot surfaces. A standard boot is only heat resistant to 120-degrees Celsius, and the Fusion goes above and beyond, contributing to its durability.

Another feature of the Fusion is its SRC sole. We talk about SRC a lot but if you still aren’t fully clued up on what it is, read our SRC blog. The Fusion meets the highest slip testing there is and as slips trips and falls are the leading cause of major accidents in the workplace, this is another great feature of the Fusion.
Now, this next Fusion feature is arguably the star. Completely waterproof, the Fusion is the perfect safety boot to keep your feet warm and dry, especially if you're outside all year round. As we live in the UK, we all know the weather can do some crazy things, so this waterproof, breathable safety boot is perfect for all weather.
The tongue unit on the Fusion is also special. An overlaid design and all in one tongue means water runs off the side of it so rain can't sneakily get in the Fusion. I told you it was a good boot right?

You might be asking what actually makes a boot waterproof? Well, the Fusion boasts a breathable lining, and it’s this lining which keeps water out and your feet dry. It’s amazing what you can do with materials for shoes these days, isn’t it?
- "Footwear is comfortable. All my guys are very happy wearing it."
Mark Pearson, Glasgow Airport
At integra.boot, we want you to look good and only use the best quality products around. That’s why the Fusion is made with full grain leather, so it’s a softer material with no defects.
This flexible safety boot has metal free eyelets, an S3 specification and can be used in many different applications. Although created with the Aviation sector in mind, the Fusion can be used in construction and a number of other sectors too. The boots come with yellow and black laces, but we also provide a free pair of plain black laces in the box with the Fusion.
