Food. & Drink Manufacturing
Our Solution
We’re the sole producer of red polyurethane wellingtons in the UK, so we know colour-coded footwear really matters. Preventing contamination is essential so we’ve created hygienic wipe-clean boots to aid colour segregation and improve BRC audit scores. Eliminating ill-fitting boots gives your employees the freedom to move without discomfort and prevents common footwear injuries and claims.
The Fortis polyurethane wellington is cold resistant to -30 degrees Celsius, with a removable foot bed insole and steel toe cap. These practical high-performance boots are resistant to animal fat and oils and feature a single density polyurethane sole for your protection. Take a load off your mind with footwear that improves staff productivity and reduces absences.
Case Study

Company: Barfoots of Botley
Contact Name: Phil May, Hygiene Manager
Industry Type: Food Manufacturer
"The integra.boot wellingtons are a great offering when looking to invest in your staff’s comfort and safety. They don’t look much cheaper at the beginning but once you factor in their longevity their value is so much more than an initial cost saving."
Challenge:
Our issue was that our Hygiene team were very heavy in their usage of Wellingtons. We spend a lot of time with the toes bent as we are squatting on the floor. This was causing excessive wear around the toe cap and cracks and therefore leaks were happening more and more often.
Solution:
We trialled a couple of pairs of integra.boots [integra.boot Fortis White] and they seemed to last a lot longer in our environment. They had lasted 6 months compared to the two months the current offering were lasting.
Outcome:
Since we have put in place the new boots the team are much happier and more comfortable. The boots are lasting a lot longer compared to our previous ones.
